Rukiya (Kiya) Crawford

Founder

Rukiya Crawford is the founder of HER Health & Empowerment Foundation, a women-centered initiative that provides safe, supportive spaces where women can heal, grow, and thrive.

Her journey is rooted in resilience. Becoming a mother at a young age, Rukiya learned early what it meant to navigate life’s challenges while still striving to build something greater—not just for herself, but for her daughters. That experience shaped her strength, her perspective, and her deep commitment to creating opportunities and support for other women.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and a background in public health, Rukiya has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Through her work, she recognized a consistent need—women often carry emotional, mental, and physical burdens without a safe space to release them, process them, or receive support.

HER Health & Empowerment Foundation was created from that understanding.

What began as a vision has grown into a space where women can come together without judgment, speak freely, and build meaningful connections. Through HER Sister Circle and future initiatives, Rukiya is committed to supporting women in every aspect of life—mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially.

As a mother, entrepreneur, and community advocate, she is passionate about showing women—and especially her daughters—that strength and softness can coexist and that prioritizing their well-being is not selfish but necessary.

HER is more than a foundation—it is a growing movement rooted in healing, empowerment, and community.
